WALLEAN establish the laboratory for analysing, classifying and carrying out the necessary tests on the yarns used in order to guarantee the quality for the production of twisted ropes, sleeves, packings, tapes, cloths, etc.
The various tests to which the yarns are subjected include resistance to temperatures, tensile strength and yarn count. In the laboratory various pieces of equipment are used including small electronic reels for yarns, a differential balance for tapes, roving and yarns, dynamometer, industrial ovens, etc.
All the laboratory tests are performed in compliance with international regulations or according to in-house procedures (commonly adopted in the textile sector) when standard regulations are not applicable.
