TEXSil Pre-shrunk silica fabrics are commercial grade pre-shrunk satin weave silica textiles. In additional to having the same thermal performance characteristics of standard TEXSil fabrics, our Pre-shrunk silica fabric also have low residual shrinkage. Pre-shrunk silica fabrics are intended for applications that require minimal areal shrinkage at high temperatures.TEXSil Pre-Shrunk silica fabrics withstand extreme operating temperatures and can be used or configured as panel, insulation, furnace zone curtains, forging insulation, stress relief blankets, hot chemical filters, and reinforcement materials for composites and resins. TEXSil fabrics are used extensively in the Power Generation, Aerospace, Electronics, Chemical Processing and Metal Processing industries.

Notes:
1. Roll length is 50 yards, and nominal roll widths are 34.5 inches. Other roll lengths are available.
2. TEXSil Pre-Shrunk Textiles are white in color.
3. Shrinkage data represents areal shrinkage after 30 min. of exposure time at 1800˚ F.
4. Pre-Shrunk TEXSil textiles have no topical coating applied.
5. TEXSil fabrics are amorphous silica textiles, and contain no asbestos or ceramic fibers.
