Silicone Coated Fiberglass Square Braided Rope with Tank Lid Core
Description
- Designed to provide a seal in environments that are exposed to the hazards of high heat and occasional flame.
- Made of round braided type E-glass, with tank lid core, then coated with a high grade silicone rubber.
- Resistant to hydraulic fluids, lubricating oils, and fuels, providing an excellent high temperature seal for a variety of industrial uses.
- Used at 500¡ãF / 260¡ãC continuous, withstand a molten splash at 2200¡ãF / 1205¡ãC
500¡ãF / 260¡ãC continuous rating with weld splatter / molten metal splash protection.
2200¡ãF / 1205¡ãC for periods up to 15 minutes and short excursions to 3000¡ãF / 1650¡ãC.

Application
High temperature rope, typically used as a gasket, providing a high-temperature seal that provides a higher degree of liquid or gas containment compared to a plain tape or rope gasket. The rope can be partially or completely coated (partially coated rope allows for gluing or other methods of fastening). This rope can also be fabricated into a closed ring and is ideal for many gasket and sealing applications on boilers and similar industrial appliances.
