Graphite glass knitted rope

Description

  • Graphite adds lubrication to result in a very  slippery rope with electrical conductivity.
  • Resists molten splash and splatter very well as it cannot stick to the graphite.
  • Used at 1000¡ãF /537¡ãC continuous, 1112¡ãF /600¡ãC for long time, much higher for short periods

Graphite coated knitted ropes are treated with a Graphite/Silicone oil impregnation, a specially formulated, non shedding, lubricating graphite finish that improves resistance to both temperature and abrasion.

Common applications

Used for making gaskets on a variety of industrial and commercial boilers, ovens, furnaces. Used as a high temperature packing for shaft seals. Also used for residential wood and pellet stoves.

1000¡ãF / 537¡ãC continuous rating, high insulation value & excellent personnel protection
