Heat treated ceramic fabric

Description

  • Heat treated process burn out the organic fibers
  • Produced from an extremely pure alumina-silicate ceramic fiber
  • Available with fiberglass yarn reinforcement or Steel wire reinforcement
  • An alternative to asbestos based textilesProvides low thermal conductivity and good dielectric strength and features excellent corrosion resistance
  • Used at 2300¡ãF / 1260¡ãC continuously, molts above 3000¡ãF / 1650¡æ

Organic fiber burn out during the heat treatment process, it is highly flexible and minimal shrinkage , used in surroundings where no smokes allowed, applications including welding blankets, stress relieving, removable insulation covers, fire blankets, fire curtains, expansion joints and flue ducts.

2300¡ãF / 1260¡ãC continuous rating, high insulation value & excellent personnel protection
