Texturized basalt tape
Description
- Produced of bulk texturized basalt yarns, traps greater amounts of air and demonstrates better insulation properties and greater fullness
- An alternative to asbestos and ceramic based textiles
- Available in plain and drop wrap (ladder tape or bolt hole tape)
- Available with a PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive) to facilitate easy installation
- Used at 1200¡ãF / 648¡ãC continuous, maintains integrity at temperatures up to 1800¡ãF / 982¡ãC
Available with specialty coatings such as Aluminium foil, Adhesive back, Wire insert, etc.
Common applications including:
Thermal insulation and heat protection pipes, flexible tubes, electrical cables, sealing joints of ovens and boiler doors, stoves, fireplaces and expansion joints.
1200¡ãF / 648¡ãC continuous rating, high insulation value & excellent personnel protection
