Removable Insulation Blanket materials

A removable insulation blanket has three main components:

- Hot side: the inner layer, which works to keep the insulation mat in place, and can also act as a barrier, protecting the insulation mat from fluid seepage.

- Insulation media: the middle layer mat which provides the actual heat containment. Mat thickness varies from 1/8” to 4”, depending on the amount of heat reduction the application requires.

- Cold side: the outer layer protective fabrics, designed to shield and protect the insulation from the working surroundings.

Aside from these three components, there is fastening system used to secure the insulation blanket in place.

All of these components can vary according the application in question and the end user requirements.

Heated Treated Fiberglass Fabrics
100% fiberglass cloth with heat heat treatment to clean out the sizings on yarns which makes the fabric pure and easy cutting with less fray, to reduce itching with hydrocarbon coating is available upon request. the dependable standard for pipe and valve protection up to 550 ˚C.
