These medium-duty welding blankets are made from uncoated fiberglass, which is a flexible material that protects nearby surfaces from sparks, spatter, and light slag. Medium-duty uncoated fiberglass is heavier than light-duty uncoated fiberglass and is suitable for stress relief applications. Also vermiculite coating, acrylic coating, neoprene coating, silicone rubber coating is available for medium duty welding blankets in protection for sparks, spatter, minimal slag.

Heavy Duty Welding Pads
Heavy-duty vermicuilte coated fiberglass welding blankets protect surfaces from heat, sparks, spatter, and light slag. The silicone coating resists abrasion, water, oil, and some solvents and will not produce toxic fumes when exposed to flame or high temperatures. Heavy-duty Texsil Eco silica fabrics and Texsil Silica fabrics are ideal materials for heavy sparks, spatter, slag and light molten metal protection in horizental sheets.
