Texsil Silica Fabrics
Texsil silica fabrics are high temperature fabrics used in a wide range of insulation and protection applications such as welding curtains, welding blankets and welding pads. Texsil silica fabrics have a minimum silicon dioxide content of 96% and can be fabricated into many forms to withstand temperatures up to 1000°C. Texsil silica fabrics are available with our standard proprietary surface treatment for improved handling and fray resistance. Texsil silica fabrics are extensively used in the Power Generation, Refineries, Shipbuilding and Repair, Metal Processing, Petro-Chemical, Aerospace and Automotive industries.

Texsil Ultra Silica Fabrics
Texsil Ultra silica fabrics are improved with higher tensile strength and abrasion strength. it can be used for various coatings, including silicone, PU, PTFE, aluminized, graphite, vermiculite etc. for fire curtains, removable insulation blankets, car fire blankets, battery bag, heat shields, duct hoses,etc..  Texsil Ultra silica fabrics have a minimum silicon dioxide content of 96% and can be fabricated into many forms to withstand temperatures up to 1000°C. Texsil Ultra silica fabrics are extensively used in the Power Generation, Refineries, Shipbuilding and Repair, Metal Processing, Petro-Chemical, Aerospace and Automotive industries.

Texsil Pro Silica Fabrics
Texsil Pro silica fabrics are pre-shrunk satin weave silica textiles have the same thermal performance characteristics as our standard Texsil Ultra silica fabrics in addition to low residual shrinkage. Texsil Pro silica fabrics are used in industrial and aerospace applications that require minimum shrinkage at high temperatures. The areal shrinkage can be as low as 2% at 1000°C. Potential applications include: backing for quartz heaters, tray liners for thermal processing of parts, manufacturing of aerospace insulation parts, and mold release in metal forging. Texsil Pro silica fabrics are extensively used in the Power Generation, Aerospace, Electronics, Chemical Processing and Metal Processing industries.

Texsil Coated Silica Fabrics
Texsil Coated silica fabrics are the preferred choice for high temperature applications in the thermal protection of equipment and personnel. Texsil Ultra silica fabrics is the basic cloth recommended to be laminated with aluminized film or coated with silicone, PU, PTFE, graphite, vermiculite to obtain special performance properties.

The aluminized film is primarily used for its thermal reflectivity. Potential applications include: heat reflective curtains, manufacture of bellows, steel mill continuous casting inert atmosphere shroud and heat reflection in engine compartments. The silicone coated fabric is primarily used for abrasion resistance. Potential applications include: heat/abrasion harsh environments, slit tape protective wraps, insulation blanket protective covers, and special hot work protection in power plants. Both give gas and liquid impermeability.  The PU coated fabric is primarily used for abrasion resistance. The PTFE coated is primarily used for waterproof. The graphite coated is for abrasion resistance and uniform suface color after long time using in unclean sourroundings. The vermiculite coated is mainly used for additional heat protection of silica fabric for longer life. Texsil Coated silica fabrics can be fabricated with grommets and are extensively used in the Power Generation, Refinery, Construction, Shipbuilding and Metal Processing industries.

Texsil Texturized Silica Fabrics
Texsil Texturized silica fabrics are plain weave structure, it's specifically designed for hot work protection applications, tadpole gasket constructions, and expansion joint constructions where 1000°C capability is required. Texsil Texturized silica fabrics are composed of texturized yarns and have improved insulating properties over the more common satin weave fabrics. Texsil Texturized silica fabrics also have improved fabrication properties for certain applications due to less edge fraying because of its weave construction and the applied hydrocarbon (H) coating. Texsil Texturized silica fabrics available in tan color and white color, extensively with stainless steel wire reinforcement are also avalable to increase the strength and abrasion.

Texsil Zigzag Silica Fabrics
Texsil Zigzag silica fabrics are high temperature fabrics are ideal for making textile fabricated parts for high temperature welding, industrial, and automotive applications. The broken twill weave improves handling properties over the conventional satin weave construction. Texsil Zigzag silica fabrics can be treated with a proprietary surface finish to improve handing and thermal properties. exsil Zigzag silica fabrics are typically used in the fabrication of removable insulation covers, welding curtains, drop cloths, stress relief blankets, protective screens/covers, thermal pads, furnace curtains, insulation mats and cable tray wraps.
