Description
- Knitted tapes are more flexible and conformable than the equivalent size in a woven version.
- Produced of bulk texturized fiberglass yarns, traps greater amounts of air and demonstrates better insulation properties and greater fullness
- An alternative to asbestos based textiles
- Used at 1000¡ãF / 537¡ãC continuous, If exposed to high temperature 600¡ãF (315¡ãC) to 1000¡ãF (537¡ãC) for an extended period of time the fabric may become stiff and brittle.
Common applications including
Thermal insulation and heat protection sealing joints of ovens and boiler doors, stoves, fireplaces and expansion joints.
