Description

Ladder tape is made of wrap yarns missing in the center of tape, with just the weft yarns holding the remaining outside sections, give the tape looks like “ladder” and easy pass-thru over studs.
Produced from an extremely pure alumina-silicate ceramic fiber
An alternative to asbestos based textiles
Used at 2300°F / 1260°C continuously, molts above 3000°F / 1650℃
Available with a PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive) to facilitate easy installation
Common application of ladder tapes are used as gasket seal material on access doors for ovens, furnaces and kilns, where a gasket/seal is desired on both sides of the securing fasteners such as a bolt line. Ladder tape is also used on commercial kitchen exhaust duct flange joints as a sealing tape.
